Lux Aeterna (2023-2026)
Light suspended between veils reveals ethereal presences: floating fragments, X-rays of the invisible that sculpt the air and, alongside sound frequencies, open a threshold toward contemplation and self-reflection.
Lux Aeterna is an immersive and interactive light installation that plunges participants into an environment composed of layers of translucent fabric, video projections, and sound. The audience enters and walks among these layers, upon which various geometric and organic shapes are projected, forming visual compositions in constant transformation.
The work explores essential forms—circles, spirals, and meanders, among others—that have accompanied humanity since its origins. These figures structure nature and appear repeatedly across diverse cultures as symbols of the transcendent. By projecting them, light is not merely shaped: a profound memory is summoned, reminding us that we are not isolated, but timelessly woven into a common history—into structures that repeat both within and outside of us, manifesting in both the micro and macrocosm.
A deep, enveloping soundscape of guttural chants and low-frequency pulses merges with the visual field to induce a state of profound stillness.
In the face of the accelerated pace and the contemporary obsession with productivity, Lux Aeterna presents itself as a space of resistance through the senses—a place where thought quiets down and the body reconnects with its own sensoriality.
